Your outfield may have a piped drainage system fitted.  If it does, regularly inspect silt traps and inspection chambers and remove silt and any blockage where applicable.  Always make sure inspection chamber covers are replaced properly and are covered suitably to prevent injury if in the field of play.

Inspect your drainage outfall if it is safe to do so to make sure that it is free of obstruction.  Always take extreme care when working near to or around water courses.

It may be necessary to bring in a contractor to jet or rod your drainage system to remove any blockages.
